A Different Kind of Benefit: Introducing the Pay It Forward Ticket
This year, Healing in the Holidays isn’t just another benefit concert — it’s a reimagining of what community celebration can look like. With the launch of our Pay It Forward Ticket, we’re shifting away from the typical one-directional benefit model. Each ticket purchased at this level funds an Equity Ticket for a community member who reflects the mission of Healing in the Margins — especially those who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ and who are doing the often-unseen work of care, healing, and advocacy. This initiative is about more than access — it’s about solidarity, shared joy, and honoring the people our work is built for and by. It’s one small way we practice our values, even in how we gather.
GENERAL ADMISSION: $150 / Includes seated dinner
PAY IT FORWARD ADMISSION: $250 / Includes seated dinner and chance to nominate someone in our community for a free ticket and recognition
Know someone who should be in the room with us? You’ll have the chance to name them when you check out. We're especially looking to uplift folks from historically marginalized backgrounds who are doing powerful work in their communities, formally or informally, and who deserve to be honored, nourished, and celebrated.
BALCONY ADMISSION: $65 / Balcony seat, does not include dinner
Want to Enjoy the Night Without Dinner?
$65 (28 seats available)
You’ll have a great view of the action from the balcony, and we recommend grabbing a bite before you arrive. It’s the perfect choice if you’re joining us for the celebration and connection, but not the full meal.
Dinner will be provided for all general admission, pay it forward admission, and sponsorship tickets. Cash Bar.
All general, pay it forward, and sponsorship guests will be seated at 8-top tables.
Balcony Admission does not include dinner.

Therapeutic Yoga Tools for Connecting with your Body
Therapeutic Yoga Tools for Connecting with your Body
Explore foundational yoga therapy tools from the Viniyoga lineage, a therapeutic approach that adapts yoga to the individual. These practices are designed to support both therapists in their personal self-regulation and clients navigating anxiety, dissociation, and overwhelm.
We’ll explore gentle breath-centered movement, pranayama (breath techniques), and simple meditation practices that help restore nervous system balance, build interoceptive awareness, and support trauma-informed care and offer practical ways to integrate these tools into the therapeutic space, including short practices for session transitions, grounding techniques for emotional regulation, and simple movements that support cognitive processing and embodiment.
All practices will be accessible to most bodies and include variations for differing physical and sensory needs. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
Learning Objectives:
a. Describe the basic principles of the Viniyoga (Therapeutic yoga) lineage and its therapeutic applications in mental health settings.
b. Demonstrate short, accessible practices therapists can use between sessions or offer to clients as grounding tools.
c. Adapt movement and breath practices for varying physical abilities and sensory needs within a trauma-informed framework.
